Mole Assessment
Melanocytic naevi, more commonly known as moles, are benign (non-cancerous) skin growths caused by abnormal collection of pigment producing cells in the skin. Most moles are dark and pigmented but some moles may be lightly pigmented or may even be flesh coloured. Moles initially appear flat but may become raised and dome-shaped later in life. They generally do not require removal except for cosmetic reasons. Consult a dermatologist if your mole develops irregular borders, starts bleeding or suddenly increases in size as these may represent early cancerous changes.

Wart Removal
Warts are skin growths that grow on any part of the body, including the face, fingers and groin. They have a rough surface on which tiny, dark dots can often be seen. On pressure areas like the palms or the soles, they appear flat. Warts on the sole grow inward from the pressure of standing and walking and are often painful. Warts are caused by a virus, and are otherwise harmless. However, they are contagious, and may spread from one part of the body to another or to other people. As warts can be a nuisance, dermatologists offer treatments such as minor surgery, electrosurgery, laser, freezing with liquid nitrogen or using special chemicals to remove them.
Rosacea Treatment
Rosacea is facial skin condition that presents as redness on the cheeks, nose, chin or forehead. Over time, the redness tends to become more persistent, in association with skin swelling, visible tiny blood vessels and small bumps or pimples. Sometimes, the eyes are also affected and may be watery or bloodshot. In long standing and severe cases the nose may grow swollen and lumpy. Rosacea typically occurs after the age of 30. The exact cause is unknown but many factors may trigger flare-ups, including sunlight, alcoholic drinks, spicy foods, exercise, stress, anxiety and hot drinks such as coffee and tea.
