I emailed Dr. Kent on Tuesday night explaining I had a milia on my eyelid that I wanted to have removed. First thing Wednesday morning I had an email back offering me a free consultation. I contacted Dr. Kent’s secretary and made an appointment for the following Saturday. Dr. Kent was brilliant. He explained that he could not use laser to remove the milia as it was too close to my eye, and he recommended another treatment which involved micro needles which would apply an electric current. I was very happy to have the treatment as I was very self-conscious and wanted the milia gone. The treatment only took about 15 minutes and I was delighted with the result. It was painful towards the end but nothing unbearable. I would highly recommend Dr. Kent, he was polite, he explained everything to me, answered my questions and put me at ease. The surgery and waiting room were bright and spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend Dr. Kent.

I loved my facial yesterday with Lena. This was my first time having a professional facial like this. I was really looking forward to it and I wasn't disappointed. I felt so relaxed during my facial. I loved the relaxing music it was lovely and I really enjoyed it when she gave me a message on my neck and back during the treatment. I would definitely book in with Lena again. My face had a lovely glow afterwards. My face feels so soft.

Milia are small, white (or sometimes pale yellow) spots that usually appear around the eyes, on the cheeks and on the eyelids. They are a type of cyst filled with a substance called keratin, a protein that provides strength to the skin. Milia are harmless but can be unsightly and can be removed easily with diathermy. Diathermy uses a high frequency current through a very fine needle to remove the milia.
Skin Tag Removal from €40
Skin tags are small growths of skin (sometimes pigmented) and can be found on both men and women in many areas of the body, i.e. neck, eyelid, underarm, waistline, bikini and breast area. They are harmless but for some people, they may be unsightly and can be easily removed with diathermy. Diathermy uses a high frequency current through a very fine needle to remove the skin tag.
Pigmentation Treatment from €40
At Monica Tolans we remove pigmentation marks and brown spots from all areas of the face and body using IPL. The heat or energy from the laser warms up the brown cells causing them to die and naturally exfoliate from the skin. This treatment is very quick with minimum discomfort. This treatment works in layers similar to that of an onion so multiple treatment and repeated visits may be required for up to 4/6 weeks. This will be taken into account when pricing is agreed. You must keep treated area protected from the sun indefinitely.

I had my first Millia removal today at Advanced Electrolysis Clinic with Oxana. The salon was recommended by a friend. Its a clean and friendly salon and is following all the health guidelines. Treatment was painless and Oxana was lovely, explained the whole process. Looking forward to my next treatment in 2 weeks.
