Dermatologist Consultation
Acne Treatment AU$350  -  AU$800
Several treatments available for Acne or old acne scarring such as: Micro-Dermabrasion, Peels, Blue LED photo therapy, PDT or photo dynamic therapy and professional cleansers and skin car program designed to reduce, damage and eventually to stop Acne bacteria from growing and expanding. Consultation is a must and is free of charge.
Tattoo Removal AU$90  -  AU$1000
Sometimes imagining a tattoo design  or seeing a tattoo on paper , could look different and inappropriate when it is actually applied on your skin, being part of your body and representing who you are.Luckily you are not alone. As  you may already know, laser is the treatmentof choice for tattoo removal. It has the ability to remove the most of tattoopigments. Our clinic offers treatment with the Medlite Con Bio C6 Q switch ‘N dYAG’ and Sinon Quantel RUBY Q-switch laser which are the two gold standardadvanced laser system designed to remove any tattoos no matter what their sizeor colour is. Thisspecific laser is designed to produce one or more specific wavelengths oflight. These wavelengths are either absorbed, reflected, or simply pass throughobjects. Tattoo ink is removed by using a specific wavelength which passesthrough the skin but is absorbed by the ink. The rapid absorption of lightenergy causes destruction of the tattoo ink, and it is removed by the bodysnatural filtering systems. TheQ-Switched, Frequency Doubled Nd:YAG laser emits light in very short flashes oflight called pulses. The impact of the energy from the powerful pulse of light is similar to the snap of a thin rubber band or specks of hot bacon grease on the skin. The large majority of all patients do not require anaesthesia. You may return to work immediately. How many treatment sessions will it take to remove the tattoo? On the average, professional tattoos require 8-10 treatments or even more, while amateur tattoos require 6-8 treatments, all spaced approximately one month apart. The number of treatments depends on the amount and type of ink used and the depth of the ink in the skin. Rarely, even more than ten treatments may beneeded. Do all colors of ink disappear equally as well? No. Dark(blue/black) inks and red inks fade the best. Oranges and purples usually respond well.Green and yellow inks are

Victorias Cosmetic Medical Clinic

(03) 6417 5196 11 High Street, Suite 16, Launceston, 7250
Rating from 1 Review Quick results are well worth itCherie, Launceston, 15 Sep 15

I had IPL treatment for colour correction, wasn't expecting to see any change for up to 2 weeks but it was 3 days and it is amazing even friends have noticed, and they want to go too. For the price and a quick result when not even finished, is well worth it. Very Happy Client I have always known of Victorias, but until a friend had told me about someone else going for treatment, and how amazing she looked, I was onto it straight away, as I'm getting Married in 9 weeks then and wanted to look and feel great on my special day. Was a bit daunting at first, but as soon as I entered the smell was amazing and the staff were very friendly and tea and coffee, felt very relaxed. Now im addicted.

Riana Health Skin Care Clinic

(02) 8599 2269 ext: 86496 1/146 Scollay Street, Greenway, 2900
Rating from 2 Reviews Pleased with my experience and will definitely be going backBarbara, Australia, 28 Apr 17

I went to the Riana Health Skin Care Clinic to have troublesome skin tags removed as they were rubbing against other skin and becoming inflamed. For me, it was all about solving the problem i.e. the skin tags. I was offered at the same time to have vaguely unsightly cysts removed from my face which was a bonus. For a set fee, I could have any number of skins tags/lesions removed which I thought was very good value. I would recommend this quick and easy solution to skin tags. The Riana Health Skin Care Clinic is a professional establishment with friendly staff. I was very pleased with my experience and will definitely be going back for any future problems. I chose this establishment from a website listing all places as I was impressed with how quickly Riana Health Skin Care Clinic responded to my request for information.

Acne Treatment
It is estimated that up to ninety percent of teenagers and a significant number of adults suffer from acne (pimples). At Clear Complexions Clinics we know how debilitating the condition can be and that it can cause both physiological and emotional scars. Our aim is to increase self esteem, reduce the number and severity of breakouts and to minimise the scarring associated with acne. The Clear Complexions Clinic nurses are highly skilled at working with young people and their families for the best possible outcomes. Acne can be well controlled with a treatment program designed by our qualified nurses that incorporates medical grade skincare,  LED light based treatment, and a new generation of procedure peels. These can all be tailored to work alongside and support any medication prescribed by your doctor. We will not hesitate to refer you to your GP or dermatologist if your acne is not improving in the way we think it should be. Don’t let acne hold you back any longer! to start your treatment program today. Primary causes of acne The underlying causes of acne have been widely studied and genetics and hormones are the primary impacting factors. Acne is caused by overactive sebaceous glands and excess skin cell production, resulting in blackheads, whiteheads and cysts. In some cases however it may be an external factor that can be causing, if not increasing, the severity of breakouts.
Acne Scars Treatment
The treatment of pitted acne scars requires both the breaking up of the fibrous scar tissue and the production of new collagen to fill out the scar. Traditional approaches – such as deep chemical peeling, conventional lasers, and abrasion therapies such as microdermabrasion - usually achieve only moderate results or, worse, they destroy healthy tissue along with the scar. Acne scars occur as the skin heals from acne lesions. Acne scars are typically indented or pitted or, giving the skin a pox-marked or wavy appearance, or pigmented marks that remain on the skin years after the lesion has healed. Unlike other procedures,  treatment removes damaged skin on the surface and reaches deep into the skin to stimulate collagen remodeling. In this way, Fraxel® treatment improves the elasticity, texture and tone of your damaged skin while keeping your healthy tissue intact, which minimises downtime. The  is widely regarded as the gold standard for the treatment of pitted acne scars. The number of treatments required depends on the extend of scarring, and the age and condition of the skin. Contact the clinic to book your consultation For clients who have finally gained control of their acne only to find they are left with the pink/purple/red or brown marks, help comes in the form of light. is extremely effective in accelerating the healing and fading these acne scars. Again, the number of treatment depends on the severity of the scars but our nurses will be able to give you an idea during your .
