Dr Wayne Aldredge

Biography:
Specializes in periodontics with emphasis on dental implants, giving his patients the benefit of over fifteen years of experience in these dynamic areas of dentistry. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology. In his research and studies, Dr. Aldredge is on the leading edge of dental specialists treating gum disease and advancing the use of dental implants. In addition to his private practice in Holmdel, NJ, Dr. Aldredge is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics and Dental Implantology at Stony Brook University and an attending faculty member at Newark Beth Israel Hospital and Monmouth Medical Center. In 1988, Dr. Aldredge received his Biology degree from Stockton State College and his D.M.D. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey Dental School in 1992. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Moncrief Army Community Hospital, Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina and earned his Post-graduate Periodontal Degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. From 1993 to 1996, Dr. Aldredge practiced general dentistry as an Army Captain at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he also coached the Army Rugby Team.

Dr Richard Nejat

Biography:
is a Board Certified Periodontist* whose practice is in the forefront of computer guided implant dentistry and minimally invasive dental surgery. Dr. Nejat attended college at Drew University and continued his education at New York University where he attained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Nejat was elected to membership in the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon, The National Dental Honor Society recognizing academic and clinical excellence in dentistry. Dr. Nejat completed a three-year residency in Periodontics and Dental Implants, earning his certificate in Periodontics from The State University of New York at Stony Brook University. Dr Nejat is currently Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Implant Dentistry & Periodontics and Full-Mouth Rehabilitation CE Course at New York University. He is also is Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Implant Dentistry & Periodontics at Stony Brook University In addition to his professorship at New York University and Stony Brook University, Dr. Nejat maintains private practices in Manhattan and Nutley, New Jersey. Through an educational grant from Colgate, Dr. Nejat published a continuing education article entitled: “Periodontal Inflammation: The Oral Body Connection.” This peer-reviewed publication was designed to help dentists, physicians, dental hygienists, and dental assistants understand the relationship between periodontal disease and its systemic influence.

Dr Daniel Nejat

Biography:
Is a Board Certified Periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He has made significant achievements beyond the educational requirements of the specialty. He maintains his private practice in Manhattan. Dr. Daniel Nejat graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Bachelor of Arts from Drew University. He continued his education at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey Dental School, where he was honored with the UMDNJ-NJDS Academic Scholarship, received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine, and was presented with an award in the Excellence in Oral Pathology. After completing dental school, Dr. Daniel Nejat continued his training at New York University School of Dentistry for an additional 3 years post-graduate training in periodontics. During his training, he mastered the art and science of periodontics and implantology from some of the best periodontists in the country. Through an educational grant from Colgate, Dr. Daniel Nejat has also published two continuing education articles: “Periodontal Inflammation: The Oral Body Connection” and “Controlling the Intraoral Environment Before and After Implant Therapy”. These are peer-reviewed publications that were designed to help dentists, physicians, dental hygienists and dental assistants understand the relationship between periodontal disease and its systemic influence as well as how to maintain newly placed dental implants.
