Bedford Dental Group: Daniel Naysan DDS

After graduating from dental school abroad and immigrating to the United States, Mehdi Nayssan, D.D.S. continued to further his education and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in June of 1981. After completing all the necessary coursework for foreign-trained dentists, he established his first dental practice in Los Angeles in 1983, and later attended the University of Los Angeles (UCLA) TMJ and Facial Pain mini-residency program before founding the Bedford Dental Group in Beverly Hills, California.

He continues to practice both general and advanced cosmetic dentistry and is involved in all forms of general dentistry. His work includes root canals, oral surgery and all types of gum treatment.

Daniel Naysan, D.D.S., earned is BS in gerontology from the University of Southern California before attending dental school there, where he received his DDS. Daniel is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association and Los Angeles Dental Society, and is also a member of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. He has earned an advanced certification for treating patients with the Invisalign system and is a 2009 Invisalign Premier Provider. Dr. Naysan also continues to practice all forms of general and advanced cosmetic and general dentistry.

Dr. Apel Keuroghlian is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon that graduated from UCLA. His career began with a biomedical/biochemical engineering degree from the University of Southern California, where he graduated among the top of his class. Throughout his undergraduate education in engineering, Dr. Keuroghlian researched the effects of the different surface characteristics of implants and their integration with bone. He later decided to further his education by obtaining a dental degree from USC.

While at the USC School of Dentistry, Dr. Keuroghlian received several endowed scholarships for academics/research including the California Dental Association research scholarship and academic scholarship as well as the Class of 1964 endowed scholarship. He once again graduated amongst the top of his class. Dr. Keuroghlian truly enjoyed the surgical aspect of dentistry while in dental school and decided to further his education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at UCLA which includes a Medical Degree from UCLA as well as a internship certificate in general surgery. He currently holds a faculty position at UCLA as well. Dr. Keuroghlian truly enjoys what he does and is committed to enhancing patient care by integrating his engineering, dental and surgical skills and education. He hopes to pursue research in the future, but is dedicated to patient care as his first priority. Dr. Keuroghlian is fluent in both English and Armenian. 

Shervin Molayem, D.D.S. comes from a long line of family dentists. From a young age, his grandfather, a prominent general dentist, instilled a strong work ethic and love of dentistry in him. For this reason, he pursued his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry after graduating from UCLA with his bachelor's degree. Upon graduation, he received the Nathan A. Styrt Scholarship Award, Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity president's plaque and Award of Excellence by the IADA for his promotion of diversity and community outreach programs. While pursuing his passion for surgery and dental implants, Shervin was accepted into a three-year specialty program for periodontics, dental implants and reconstructive surgery at USC School of Dentistry. As the founder of the UCLA and USC Journals of Dental Research, he has conducted extensive research in the field of dental implants. He has also presented his research nationally and lectured internationally.
