Eclipse Dental Care

BChD MFGDP MClin Dent (Prosthodontics) FFGDP RCS - GDC 74492. He graduated from Leeds University in 1998 and after working in Huddersfield and travelling extensively around the world he settled in Batley in 2000. He achieved membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2001 through the Royal College of Surgeons in London and more recently has been awarded a Masters in Clinical Dentistry from the University of London in 2008. He became a partner at Eclipse Dental Care in 2007. He is committed to further education, completing over 70 hours of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) a year. He has received extensive further training on composite techniques, aesthetic dentistry and implantlogy, both in the UK and internationally. In 2010, Matthew was awarded a Fellowship by the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners - their highest accolade. He is a Member of the Association of Dental Implantologists and a Fellow of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners.

B.Ch.D - GDC 51824. He graduated from Leeds Dental School in 1978 and has worked in Batley since qualifying. He has spent a large proportion of his career training newly qualified dentists as part of the Yorkshire Deanery's vocational training scheme. In 2003 John converted to private practice in order to provide a high quality service to his loyal patient base. He regularly attends postgraduate lecture days and is interested in the aesthetic and surgical aspects of modern dentistry. His interests outside of dentistry are all sport based. He is a keen follower of Leeds United and Leeds Rhinos and also enjoys skiing.

B.Ch.D MFGDP(UK) - GDC 82304. He is originally from Coleraine, Northern Ireland and graduated from Leeds in 2003. Having completed his initial training year with us he has remained a member of the team ever since. He achieved membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners in 2005 through the Royal College of Surgeons in London and now sits as treasurer in the Yorkshire division committee. Mark is also a clinical lecturer for their MJDF postgraduate course. He has enhanced his skills through courses in advanced restorative techniques and composite artistry, both in the UK and internationally. Having worked part time as a tutor at Leeds Dental Institute he is a valued and knowledgeable member of Eclipse Dental Care. He enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry with a special interest in aesthetic composite dentistry. He has outside interests including rugby, football, reading and travelling.

I have established Eclipse Orthodontics with a view to providing high end, top quality orthodontic treatment to both children and adults. As a specialist orthodontist I pride myself on performing orthodontic treatment alone, and am certain I can treat patients to a very high standard in the most professional of environments. I qualified from Leeds Dental School with honours in 2002, carried out my vocational training in South Leeds, then spent a year working at Pinderfields General Hospital as a Maxillofacial SHO caring for patients with facial trauma, head and neck cancer and other dental anomalies.
