About Lakeside Specialist Orthodontics

Orthodontics is so much more than just straight teeth. A beautiful, healthy balanced smile is the result of optimal positioning of the teeth in three dimensions within in the face, beautifully framed by the lips. At Lakeside Orthodontics we focus on facial balance and symmetry which explains why so many dentists and patients recommend us.

Jonty has over 20 years experience as an Orthodontic Specialist and has treated over 8000 orthodontic cases. We have received Awards for our cases treated, the practice and also our Therapists. I have been awarded Invisalign Platinum Elite status by Invisalign with over 500 cases completed. I have Lectured for Invisalign and helped to mentor many dentists learning to use Invisalign braces within their own Dental surgeries. We also use fixed braces - metal, ceramic and the newest self ligating 'low-friction' braces like Damon and Smartclip. I have been fitting Lingual braces (placed on the inside of your teeth) since 1997.  We invite you to look at our cases on our practice.

Orthodontic Specialists are qualified in both general dentistry and Orthodontics. Registered with the General Dental Council (64747) and also on their Specialist Orthodontist List. Batchelor of Dental Surgery, Liverpool University, 1989. Fellowship in Dental Surgery – Royal College of Surgeons, London, 1994. Master of Science Degree –University of London in 1997. Membership in Orthodontics- Royal College of Surgeons, 1998. Clinical lecturer for Invisalign.Husband to Cath who is a trainee Doctor and father to Toby, Katie and Matilda. Interests include skiing/snowboarding, kitesurfing and windsurfing (children permitting) and playing the guitar and drums… rather poorly. Jonty also treats patients at 12 White Friars, in the centre of Chester, as well as in West Kirby.
