The business has won numerous awards and has had exposure on TV and Radio, as well as numerous articles in the national press both In N Ireland and in the Republic of Ireland. As a progressive practice we have recently invested in a Dental CT Scanner, enabling us to plan implant treatment without the need to send patients to a hospital for a CT scan.

The principal dentist at 03 Dental, Mr PD Flanagan, has travelled extensively to the USA and continental Europe, as well as to London, for postgraduate courses. From the early days in the 1980's while studying at Queen's in Belfast, Mr Flanagan has maintained his interest in academia. At Queen's he undertook research as an undergraduate and won a national award for this and presented his paper in Boston to the ADA. Then followed a period of research, also as an undergraduate, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. After graduation Mr Flanagan worked in hospitals in Belfast and England and gained the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Numerous educational activities have been undertaken since, including many trips to USA and to the Universities of Frankfurt and Tübingen, in Germany,as well as studying Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons and Cosmetic Dentistry on Harley Street, and this has translated into a modern, up-to-date practice, with a wide range of treatments.
