Gwersyllt Dental Care

BDS Birmingham 1985 GDC Number: 60597. He grew up in Malvern and qualified from Birmingham University. After serving in the Royal Navy he entered general practice and took over Gwersyllt Dental Practice. During that time the practice has grown and modernised and has been used as a training practice for newly qualified dentists. Now a highly experienced dentist, his main interests are prevention of dental disease, high quality cosmetic treatments and implant dentistry. He is married with two wonderful daughters. If he wasn’t a dentist he would like to be a golfer (in his wildest dreams!) His other interests include football, cricket, running and popular music and he is happy to talk about them if asked!

GDC Number 5177. She is our Hygienist and Dental Therapist. She has worked at the practice since August 2000. The role of Dental Therapist is to carry out routine Dental Treatment such as fillings, impressions, radiographs, tooth whitening, extractions in children as well as prevention and plaque control, cosmetic polishing and maintaining the health of the gums. She has a wealth of experience both clinically and academically, regularly teaching at Liverpool Dental Hospital and is past president of The British Dental Therapist Association.

She qualified as a dental nurse in 2001. She is head nurse at the practice and can often be found fixing things!
