Dr Patel qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1990, and pursued a six month tenure in the conservation department, namely in the practice of crowns and bridges. Keval had worked in general practice for over 7 years, before embarking on an Oral Surgery post at Basildon hospital. He acquired his fellowship in Oral Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998. In 2002, he concluded a three-year Masters Programme, with Distinction, at the prestigious Postgraduate Eastman Dental Hospital specialising in crowns, bridges, dentures and implants.
