About Waddesdon Dental

Waddesdon Dental is a modern, private practice located in the quiet village of Waddesdon between Aylesbury and Bicester.  We are easy to find and have free on-site parking.  We also offer Saturday appointments.

Our dentists have a sympathetic approach to treatment as we understand that many people are nervous when visiting the dentist.  We offer routine treatment eg examinations, hygiene, fillings, bridges, dentures & whitening. Our in-house specialist provides periodontal (gum) treatment and implants, with further specialists at our sister practice in Milton Keynes providing root canal treatment, oral surgery and precision bridges and dentures.  We offer treatment under sedation for our most nervous patients.  Easy payment plans available including 0% interest option. Regular patients may benefit from the Waddesdon Dental Plan which offers 10% discount on routine treatments.

The team is led by experienced general dental practitioner Steve Cooley BDS DPDS.

Steve qualified from Sheffield University in 1987. He is registered with the General Dental Council, Number 62749.

 

He obtained the degree of Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and additionally the final year awards in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology and Oral Surgery.
In 1997, Steve completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Child Dental Health and Restorative Dental Care at Bristol University.

Puneet Patel has successfully completed a three year specialty training programme in Periodontology & Implant Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute and subsequently passed the Membership in Periodontics exam at the Royal College Surgeons of Edinburgh, facilitating his entry onto the GDC specialist register.

Puneet graduated with honours from Guy’s King’s & St Thomas’ Hospital in 2007. Since then he has completed Senior House Officer training posts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery; Paediatric Dentistry & Restorative Dentistry.

During this time he has been awarded the New Graduate Prize by the British Society for the Study of Prosthetic Dentistry. He has attended conferences worldwide and is a member of the British Dental Association, British Society of Periodontology, and the International Team for Implantology.

Puneet’s particular interests lie in regenerative techniques to reconstitute periodontal tissue loss and restoration of missing teeth with implants.

He is happy to accept referrals for periodontal and implant treatments at Milton Keynes Dental Spa or Waddesdon Dental.

Sheetal qualified with a BDS at Guy's & St Thomas' hospital in 2005.  She has since gained the post-graduate qualifications MFDS and Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry.

Sheetal has worked in Community Dental Service treating children and adults with special needs and anxieties and phobia, and has an interest in aesthetic aspects of restorative dentistry.

Sheetal is a calm and caring dentist who put the most nervous of patients at ease.
