My experience with this dental practice has been extremely poor.
I underwent Invisalign treatment and, at the beginning, the team appeared friendly and knowledgeable. However, this changed after I had paid for the treatment in full. Halfway through my treatment, I was unexpectedly asked to pay additional money. By that stage, I had already invested thousands of pounds, and I felt I had no real choice but to pay a further £300+ to continue.
At the end of my treatment, I attended my bonding appointment and was then told that the quote I had been given, which had been confirmed by email, was apparently never valid. I was informed that the actual cost would be over £1,000 more. This was communicated without a clear explanation, acknowledgement of the discrepancy, or any sense of accountability.
After considerable back and forth, I decided to end the process and complete treatment without bonding, as I had completely lost trust in the practice both financially and clinically. I was scanned for my final retainers. At the outset, I had been quoted for three final retainers, yet I was only provided with one, which was not Invisalign-branded.
When I raised this, the practice acknowledged the issue and stated that the retainer provided was “temporary” and pending bonding, despite the fact that I had clearly communicated that I was ending treatment and cutting ties with the practice.
When I later returned to collect my actual Invisalign retainers, there was no dentist available. I was asked to try the retainers on myself in the reception area, without any clinical supervision.
The practice had also agreed to refund £95 for a hygienist appointment they advised me to have prior to treatment. That appointment lasted less than ten minutes. I am still awaiting the agreed refund.
These are only some of the issues I encountered during my time with this practice. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others to carefully consider their options, particularly if they value transparency, consistency in pricing, and professional oversight throughout treatment.
