Dental Inspirations

GDC - 70481 Dr Chris graduated from Glasgow University in 1995 and has worked in Aberdeen for many years before opening up his own practice - Dental Inspirations in 2011. Since graduating he has furthered his knowledge of dentistry; Chris has been placing dental Implants since completing his training in London in 2008 and has attended many International Implant conferences throughout the world to keep up to date with the latest techniques and standards.

GDC - 72241 Dr Michelle graduated with honours from University College Cork in 1996 with a distinction in Oral Surgery. To further her post graduate training she held two senior house officer posts in Oral Maxillofacial Departments in Peterborough and Glasgow hospitals respectively. Prior to moving to Aberdeen, Dr Michelle lived and worked in Basel Switzerland where an opportunity arose for her to join a private implant and restorative clinic. There she studied at the ITI Straumann Implant Institute and gained valuable practical experience - as well as fluency in another language. With this training Michelle has experience in complex restorative and prosthetic cases varying from precision attachments to full mouth oral rehabilitation.

Trish Maitland - Our Hygienist (or 'hygenius' as some of our patients will call her) followed Chris from his previous practice to join Dental Inspirations in 2011. She is a hugely popular Hygienist and has a busy diary of patients which is testiment to her great work. As well as working with Dental Inspirations she also works for the Health Board and has a keen interest in working with patients with disabilities and special needs.
