The treatment my daughter received today was very professional and very good value.
On this occasion, we were shown into the surgery pretty much as soon as we arrived, which was especially helpful as the ‘client’ receiving treatment was my young daughter - whom I was worried might get a bit nervous with a long wait. We also had my youngest son (aged 5) in tow - so a friendly and efficient service were what we were after.
And Christa did not disappoint! A quick X ray, followed by clear explanation of the need for an extraction of a milk tooth; then a calm and careful administration of anaesthetic, followed by a super-quick extraction. Without feeling rushed at all, it was over before we knew it!
Christa is amazing with children, a great ‘bedside manner’. She is both soothing and calm whilst at the same time being very attentive and responsive to any discomfort a child might be feeling.
Somehow, throughout the treatment, she managed to communicate both calming and caring messages to an eleven year old whilst simultaneously communicating diagnostic information to the child’s inquisitive mother, me.
Dr Engelbrecht’s practice is light, bright and in a brilliantly convenient location. Christa and her staff have excellent communication skills, are very welcoming and friendly. Most importantly, the treatments we have received thus far have been 5 star, both in terms of high standards as well as value for money. Can highly recommend.
