One of the founders and clinical director of CODEN Specialists, Dr Ho Kee Hai was Head of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) and Senior Consultant at the National University of Singapore and the National University Hospital, Singapore. A Colombo Plan scholar, Prof Ho received his early Oral Maxillofacial Surgery training in UK from the Canniesburn Hospital and the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. He also received the British Medical Fellowship Award for advanced training in the UK. Dr Ho is an elected member of the Singapore Dental Council. 

He was President of the Singapore Dental Association and President of the Association of Oral Maxillofacial Surgeons (Singapore). He also held the Honorary Associate Professor appointment of the University of Warwick. Dr Ho lectures on facial traumatology, orthognathic surgery and implant surgery to various parts of the world including UK, China, Vietnam, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, Australia, Brunei, Malaysia and Indonesia. His recent publications focused on his research activities on bone, implant and tissue engineering.

The founder and OMS surgeon of CODEN Specialists, Dr Ng Fooi Chin obtained her Masters degree in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1989. Dr Ng furthered her Oral Maxillofacial training in the United Kingdom where she obtained her Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons, England. In 1993, Dr Ng became the first and only Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to be awarded a scholarship from the British’s triple Royal Colleges of England, Edinburgh and Glasgow, under the UK Overseas Doctors Training Scheme. The Royal Colleges’ sponsorship enabled her to pursue advanced postgraduate training in craniomaxillofacial surgery at UK’s renowned Great Ormond Street Children Hospital and the University Hospital, London. Dr Ng pioneered the use of real time computer guided navigational surgery for implant placement in Southeast Asia. She was appointed an Honorary Consultant and Teaching Faculty for Image Guided Implantology (IGI) navigational system. Dr Ng’s key interest is in oral maxillofacial surgery and dental implantology. She often lectures on dental implantology and oral & maxillofacial surgical topics in countries like UK, Australia, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Dr Ng is the Director and the Lead of the Masters course in implant dentistry conducted by the University of Warwick and the University of Central Lancashire, UK. These postgraduate programmes train dental practitioners from Southeast Asia and Australia in dental implantology. She is also a founding member of the education foundation, the Institute for Dental Education Advancement (IDEA).

The founder of CODEN Specialists, Dr Lee Kwee Jin graduated with his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1992. He obtained his Masters of Science in Periodontology from the University of London in 1995. Dr Lee obtained dental Fellowships from the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1998. Dr Lee worked in a specialist dental group practice for 10 years before joining Ho Kee Hai & Partners. He is a member of the Society of Periodontology (Singapore) and British Society of Periodontology. Dr Lee is a part-time staff at the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore.

Dr Leslie Yong graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Singapore in 1966. He was awarded the University’s scholarship to study M.Sc. in Conservative Dentistry at Eastman Dental Hospital, University of London. He started his career as a full time teaching staff of Faculty of Dentistry, University of Singapore for 7 years, nurturing the next generation of dentists.

Dr Yong started his private practice in 1973 and continued part time teaching at Faculty of Dentistry for further 15 years. During that period, he was an External Examiner, for 6 years, in Final B.D.S. Re-examination in Restorative Dentistry in NUS.

Dr Yong is a Member of Academy of Medicine, Singapore and on the Roll of Specialists in Prosthodontics.

David qualified from Guys Hospital in 1980, and obtained an MSc from the Royal London Hospital in 1992. He was awarded MFGDP in 1993 from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

David has spent most of his career in private practice, for the last 15 years in Harley Street in London, where he has practiced predominantly as a prosthodontist. His practice however also includes general dentistry particularly involving endodontic treatment. His special area of interest is the aesthetic reconstruction of dentitions using crowns, bridges and implants.

Additionally throughout his career David has had a number of academic appointments. He was a clinical tutor at University College Hospital in the late 1980.

Dr David Loh graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree at the University of Western Australia, Australia.

Dr Loh has worked extensively in private practice in Perth and Sydney since 2004, with experience encompassing a broad spectrum of general dentistry.

Dr Loh is committed to providing the best service and patient care utilizing the most up to date techniques through continuing education. He has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on minimally invasive techniques.

Relocating to Singapore with his wife in 2013 to be closer to family, Dr Loh hopes to establish a long and fulfilling career in dentistry in Singapore.

Dr VicPearly Wong is our clinic's visiting Orthodontist. She is an accomplished Orthodontist with a firm grasp of modern treatment options for children and adults, including Invisalign (Invisible Braces), and Empower bracket system. She is trained in surgical correction for, and management of, cleft palate. 

A member of UNIFEM, Dr Wong participates in mission trips to treat cleft palate children in developing countries such as Myanmar. Dr Vic Wong is the Past President of the Association of Orthodontists, Singapore.
