Patients should wear retainers continuously, between meals, and at night. They should remove their retainer while taking part in contact sports. They should clean retainers using special products prescribed by the dentist. Some retainers can be cleaned using toothpaste while others require an alcohol free mouth rinse or denture cleaner.  Patients should not expose retainers to any form of heat.

Dr Sindhu Kumar was exactly the type of dentist I was looking for. She is very precise and listened to your problems while having several suggestions and options.
