Dr.Fabio Maltese

Wow, this was such a great experience. I never thought I’d say that about getting a molar extracted. I was travelling from Los Angeles to Rome to visit my son attending university. I asked my son to find me someone with great reviews and who could see the next day, I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Maltese saw me right on time the next day and assessed the situation. He agreed to perform the procedure that same day and he would move things around in his schedule to accommodate me. I came back later that afternoon for the procedure.

Dr. Maltese was 100% professional and an incredibly nice man. He was very patient and explained what he was going to do in detail. What I liked is that during the procedure calmly checked in with me, giving updates about what’s been done, and what’s coming next. He wasn’t rushed but worked quickly to minimize the time I’d be uncomfortable. He was also as gentle as could be. He was extremely thorough. I almost want to go back to Rome twice a year for cleanings! Also, his staff was amazing and his office was impeccably clean. Thank you so much, Dr. Maltese!

Dr. Fabio Maltese is an extremely competent dentist. He immediately put me at ease and explained in detail how he would proceed. I am so happy to have found such a qualified dentist. I have searched for years to locate a dentist, in Rome, with serious credentials and the ability and training to take care of my dental health. A real plus is his fluency, in English.

I had severe pain in my tooth the day I arrived in Rome from Barcelona. I tried to work through it but wasn’t able to sleep. At 6:00am I looked for a dentist nearby and saw that Dr. Maltese had good reviews and happened to be 600m away. He emailed me back at around 7am for an appointment at 12:30. He did several tests, and imaging, and confirmed that I needed a root canal (which I expected). He then conducted a 3D map of the tooth to confirm the treatment procedure. The entire process was very pleasant and he was incredibly thorough, helpful, and skilled. Within an hour of my root canal I had no pain and could eat easily. It’s been almost a week and still no pain. I can’t recommend Dr. Maltese enough.

Great professional, he treated my complicated case of big cyst and abscess, with the best way. He was very explanatory, approachable at any time, punctual on the appointments and responded immediately at my first inquiry. I would strongly recommend him.

Dr Maltese was very friendly and courteous and spoke English, he explained my options after examining my tooth. We both decided a temporary fix was better as I would be leaving Rome on Saturday and any follow-up would be impossible. I was very pleased with his work.

While on vacation in Florence I broke a filling. I sent a request to another dentist last night and I hadn’t received a response this morning. I was leaving for Rome today and did a search for an emergency dentist near me in Rome, Dr. Fabio Maltese responded immediately and we set up an appointment for Monday afternoon.

No words can describe how grateful I am for Fabio Maltese! I came to Rome with my partner with an excruciating toothache and knew I needed a root canal. I emailed him as soon as I got off the plane and he quickly got me in that day. His prices were very reasonable and his English was great. He made me feel very relaxed in a stressful situation. I wish he was my local dentist. His dental receptionist and assistant were wonderful also.

I was thoroughly impressed with the attention we received from Dr. Fabio and all of my concerns were alleviated when I needed urgent consultation. We appreciate him as well as our pediatric dentist.

The appointment was great. I got in on time and he was able to do the repair far more quickly and easily than I thought. It was expensive but well worth it!

After an accident abroad I needed veneers for my upper front teeth. The dentist and the technician both did an amazing job, using their expertise in dental aesthetics, but also giving a lot of consideration to my own preferences. I'm very happy with the result!

The staff was very friendly and responded well to any questions, worries or requests.

Emergency root canal therapy

Dr. Maltese gave me an appointment on short notice in May 2016 as I was in considerable pain. He did a magnificent job and I have no hesitation in recommending him. His English is also fluent.

I had two crowns made of Lithium Dislocate, both for the upper teeth, one for the frontal tooth and the other for the lateral incisor. I also had teeth whitening and cleaning done. I am very happy with the translucency, texture, shade and material of the crowns.

I have had 5 dentists in 3 different countries. My experience with Dr. Fabio Maltese has been one of the best ones. He is a perfectionist, good listener, and believes in only providing the best for his patients. I am very happy with the realistic looking crowns which was a challenge. Thank you, to Dr. Fabio Maltese and staff who provided me with excellent and prompt service. They are one of the very few clinics that are fluent in English and can explain everything in English.

My treatment is ongoing and continuous, i.e. Implants, with other alternative custom work, as well as!

I would also recommend a friend thinking of going for this kind of treatment, and as a matter of fact, I have already done so! I think in the long run, the value will be a good investment!

The Clinic is in a good neighborhood, that is near the Vatican, and Dr. Maltese experiences in the art of implants. The office is that of an artist, with a professional quality in and of itself own existences as a "What Clinic"!
