At your second appointment a week later your new crown/s will be fitted. Payment for crowns is 50% upfront and 50% at the end of treatment.

Most commonly teeth are extracted when a tooth is broken through trauma/accident, decay or if it is loose. There are many reasons an extraction may be required. It is important to consult your dentist regarding a dental plan. There are two types of tooth extraction: Simple extraction: This is the most common type of extraction and is very straight forward. This type of extraction occurs when the tooth is visible or loose in the mouth. Surgical extraction: This is a more complicated procedure and is necessary if a tooth is broken at the gum line or is below the gum line. This type of extraction takes more time and in some instances can only be carried out by an oral surgeon. If this is the case our dentist will refer you to an oral surgeon. At this point and if it is possible you may decide to have the tooth removed there and then or arrange to come back at a more convenient time.
