Cork Dental Smiles

BDS NUI MFDS RSCed Maria opened Cork Dental Smiles in Sept 2014 and has been very privileged and honoured to work with the existing team who proudly put patient care to the forefront of the practice. She qualified from UCC in 1997 and has practicised in Cork for the last 14 yrs.Maria has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics for adults and teenagers and sees the importance of looking after children’s developing dentition. She obtained membership of the faculty of dental surgeons of the royal college of Edinburgh in 2012 and at present is undertaking a Diploma in Orthodontics at the University of Warwick. She is a platinum elite provider of Invisalign. At Cork Dental Smiles we believe it is possible for all patients to maintain their teeth and improve their smile with simple procedures such as stain removal and tooth whitening to more complex cosmetic procedures.

She is the newest member of our team, having joined in 2011 as a dental nurse. She graduated with a BSc in public health and health promotion in 2010 and has a keen interest in dental health.

She is the senior dental nurse/practice manager in the Cork Practice. Siobhan graduated from UCC with a B.Soc.Sc.[Hons] She then went on to qualify in Dental Nursing and has had many years of experience in all aspects of dentistry. Visitors to our practice will be impressed by Siobhan's friendly and professional manner but more importantly by her empathy towards those of you who may be a little nervous.
