COMPOSITE VENEERS
Composite veneers are a
versatile cosmetic solution that can immediately transform a smile by masking
imperfections rather than physically moving teeth. They are particularly
effective for mild cosmetic adjustments and can often be completed in a single
dental visit.
Cosmetic
and Health Benefits
Straightening & Alignment
: While they do not physically
move teeth like braces, they can create the straightness for
mildly crooked, rotated, or overlapping teeth by reshaping the visible
front surfaces.
Closing Gaps
: Dentists can use the veneers to
close small to moderate gaps (diastemas) instantly.
Restoring Enamel & Appearance
: They cover and protect worn,
chipped, or eroded enamel, providing a new, protective surface that reduces
sensitivity, mimics or whitens the natural look of teeth.
Shape & Size
: Composite resin
can be sculpted to make short teeth longer, change rounded edges to square
ones, or create better symmetry across the smile.

Reducing Sensitivity:
Durability & Longevity
: Composite veneers typically
last 7 to 10 years, and/or can be reinforced, topped-up to last
another 7-10 years.
Minimal or No Preparation
: One of the biggest advantages
is that they often require little to no removal of natural enamel, making
the process less invasive and reversible.
Maintenance
: All treatments require regular
professional care and maintenance and are easily repaired if they chip.
Non-preparation (or "no-prep") composite veneers are
does not require local
anesthesia;
purely
additive, since no enamel is removed the tooth's natural strength is
preserved, and the risk of post-procedure sensitivity is significantly reduced.
