CEREC Dental Restorations
Thanks to the latest computer technology, it is nowadays no longer a problem to restore a tooth that has undergone treatment to its original natural appearance. With the aid of Cerec-3D equipment, a patient can be fitted with high quality and 100% natural looking inlays, crowns, half crowns or veneers in just an hour and a half. To achieve this, the tooth is digitally photographed and edited three dimensionally on a computer. The results are then transmitted to a CNC machine which, within 15 minutes, is able to mould a crown, an inlay or a veneer out of a tooth coloured ceramic block. The precision work is promptly carried out in the practice?s own laboratory until finally the new tooth replacement is ready to be put in place. The result is not only convincing through its accuracy of fit but also through its highly natural appearance, making it near enough impossible to distinguish between a treated and an untreated tooth

Dental Implants
The loss of teeth constitutes a big visual change which no one wishes to live with permanently. Implants are the newest and most life-like tooth replacements with the enormous advantage of having their own root. They grow with the jawbone and position themselves naturally between the remaining teeth. The quality of life of the patient is not adversely affected ? they appear the same as always, are able to eat everything and laugh with confidence. And this is how it is done: under a local anaesthetic, the titanium implant is inserted into the jaw. There follows a healing and stabilisation phase of around 3-6 months during which, the titanium screw should become integral with the jawbone. After the stabilisation phase, the implant is provided with a reconstructive element, upon which a natural looking and tooth coloured ceramic crown is placed

Root canals
Even behind an outwardly healthy looking tooth, caries could be forming in the tiniest of gaps, causing inflammation and ultimately loss of the tooth. If you wish to retain such a tooth, root canal treatment is often required. In this process, the individual canals of a tooth?s root are freed from the rest of the nerve and completely cleaned. The resulting cavity must then be made airtight so that no bacteria are able to penetrate and trigger a repeat inflammation. The safest way to seal the cavity is through a thermoplastic root filling procedure. First of all, the length of each individual canal is measured precisely using the so-called “endometric” method. Then the canals are filled with a natural substance which, when heated, pours into the smallest of cavities and quickly dries, thus effectively sealing up the tooth. Even those teeth which were once given up for lost can now be preserved for a considerable amount of time

Teeth Cleaning
To begin with, your teeth are thoroughly examined. Following this, hard and soft layers are gently removed from your teeth with the help of special instruments and the areas in between your teeth and gums are all thoroughly cleaned. Your teeth will then be polished and the surfaces smoothed. The next step is the re-mineralisation process involving fluoride, calcium and phosphate minerals which should protect against bacterial acidic attacks.

Teeth Whitening
Dazzling white teeth are a definite eye catcher and contribute enormously to an attractive appearance. Unfortunately our teeth are, by nature, rarely as white as we would wish them to be. More and more people are therefore resorting to bleaching, a method many people are afraid of due to such side effects as the damaging of tooth enamel or uneven colouring – and rightly so, since only a professionally carried out bleaching can guarantee the best possible protection and a homogeneous colouration of the teeth. Such a professional, gentle and individual service is on offer in this practice. First of all your teeth are cleaned and all discolouration arising from coffee, tea or nicotine is removed, Then your tooth colour is determined and a colour of choice decided upon, finally, at the end of your first sitting, a mould will be made of your teeth in order for us to be able to create a splint, In the second sitting, the splint will be fitted and a first bleaching process carried out. If required, additional bleaching can be effortlessly carried out by you at home using the splint. During a check-up, the often astonishing result will be examined and before and after comparison made with the aid of colour samples.

Dermal Fillers
Wrinkle filler (Hyaluronic acid) - With old age, the subcutaneous layer of fat (baby fat) in the face fades away, resulting in a loss of volume and a sagging of the skin. This loss of volume can be replenished with the help of hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is of natural origin and is an important component of the connective tissue in both humans and animals. As a medicinal drug it is biotechnologically manufactured and especially well tolerated by humans. The effects are evident immediately after the treatment. Effects last up to 3-9 months. Results: A natural result through replenishment instead of tightening, No scars, No changes to facial features.
