He graduated in 1978 from the Medical Faculty of the University of Jan Evangelista in Brno, attestation of the first degree in 1983, specializing in the prosthetic dentistry in 1988. He worked as a dentist. Since 1983 he worked at the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery I. Dental Clinic in Brno, since 1986 the department of dental prosthetics I. Dental Clinic in Brno as an assistant professor since 1990 at the same place as the head doctor. He also lectures, teaching, research and publication activities and study trips abroad. Since 1995 private practice.

He graduated in 2011 at the Medical Faculty of Masaryk University in Brno. He worked as a dentist for oral surgery private clinic in Zbýšov.
