Dr. Sara Shiewitz Dentistry

Graduated the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy. After working for a few years in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Toronto's Mount Sinai Hospital, she decided upon a career change and returned to university. Also graduate of the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, and has practiced dentistry for over 24 years.By listening to your needs and using our professional dental expertise, we are better able to give you the smile you’ve always been looking for.

She has been involved in the dental profession for over thirty years. In her country of origin, the Ukraine, she obtained a Master's degree and a PhD in business administration and management. For ten years, Polina managed a staff of over thirty people in a multidisciplinary dental facility, until she and her family immigrated to Canada in 1994.

She is a graduate of the Early Childhood Education Program at George Brown College (2001) and the Certified Dental Chairside Assistant Program at C.D.I. (2004). Always striving to educate herself, Pia joined Dr. Shiewitz's dental practice as a certified dental chairside assistant in 2004. Since that time, she has furthered her education, and graduated as a registered dental hygienist in 2009.
