This expert periodontist specializes in computer guided surgical insertions of single or multiple dental implants and in the surgical and non surgical treatments of gum disease. He also performs cosmetic gum treatments to improve the appearance of the smile of patients. He serves patients at his clinic located at Vancouver in British Columbia. Referrals are accepted from general dental practitioners. Services at the clinic include scaling and root planing, cosmetic gum contouring, crown lengthening, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, bite adjustments, guided bone and tissue regeneration, treatments for bruxism and oral cancer screening.
Wendy graduated from Vancouver Community College in 1993 and has been a practicing Registered Dental Hygienist for 18 years (minus 3 years for maternity purposes). She’s grateful to have spent 13 years as part of the team at Dr. Yamaokas office.
Christie has been a registered dental hygienist for nearly 12 years. She has been part of Dr. Yamaoka’s team since 2008. She holds a B.Sc from the University of Western Ontario and a Certificate of Dental Hygiene from George Brown College in Toronto
In 1999 she started working with Dr. Yamaoka and Dr. Basaraba as a chairside dental assistant.
She went to Vancouver Community College in 2005 and graduated as a dental hygienist with five academic awards, one of them being for the highest overall achievement in clinical and academic studies
Aiste is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene at UBC and teaches with UBCs Continuing Education program.
