Given my first positive impressions (from Dec 2009) from the service I got in Tatiana Karagenska's dental clinic I decided to return this November (2011). After booking my appointment for general oral hygiene and orthodontic consultation 4 weeks in advance I found myself in her cabinet. Polishing and scaling was performed excellently, her hygienist is really good. However my orthodontic appointment was rather rushed and lasted just 3 minutes. I was disappointed but did not put my mind into it, I let it go over my head.
Dr. Karagenska completed a general check of the state of my teeth (which was not orthodontic) for any caries etc. and she said I have one caries which needs to be sorted. I booked an appointment for that procedure for ten days ahead. On the day of my appointment (23.11.11)I phoned 5 hours in advance to confirm I was going to be there and at 2.30pm I was waiting in Karagenska's clinic. I was already waiting for 15 minutes when she came to the waiting area and said she could not do my caries as she had a lot more work to do on a client who had an appointment after me. She said her time schedule was completely messed up (in her words) by some laboratory and she can't do my tooth. I was seriously taken aback by her attitude, her reasoning and the tone of her voice when she was talking to me and most of all when she said that after all there were other dentists and I can go somewhere else if I want my tooth done. I did go to another dentist and thanks god I did! The other dentist checked my teeth, examined some x ray pictures of my mouth and assured me that there was no reason for any concern. The tooth in question has no caries and is completely healthy.

Yes, I was extremely delighted with the attitude of the staff; the promptness I was fitted in their schedule; and most of all with the state of the art apparatus in the clinic. It's all I have seen in London's top dental clinics. I wouldn't have had the treatment if they were any lower than the Western European standards I have experienced.

The treatment was exceptional. I got exactly what I ask for and more. The quoted price from Dr Tatiana was 1 quarter the price than here in the Uk. Dr Tatiana was wonderful and very helpful letting me know exactly what was required. I didn't feel like I was on a conveyor belt, I felt comfortable and secure. The clinic was lovely and clean. The staff were lovely. I felt like I was a person and not a cash pot. I had two visits of 2 days, two weeks apart. The cost of flights car hire and hotel accommodation was still only one third the price of UK Dentists.

From start to finish the experience was exceptional. I received a call from Dr Tatiana the morning following my request. She speaks excellent English and is very friendly. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction and I booked a date to commence treatment. On arrival I was warmly greeted by Dr Tatiana and was very impressed by the clinic. Excellent cleanliness and very well appointed. I had a 6 unit Zirconium bridge, 4 root canal treatments, two fillings and lower teeth whitening carried out with great care. In the UK the time quoted for the bridge work was a 2hr preperation and half and hour to fit. I estimated that over a 10 day period Dr Tatiana spent approximately 16-18hrs (the fillings and root canals were not part of the original UK time allocation) and the attention to detail was superb. The cost of all the work was substantially less than that quoted for the UK bridge on its own.

Very, very pleased with results. Have had many people admire Dr Karagenskas work.
