"The staff’s professionalism really impressed me, and they were able to help me quite quickly"

Treatment Received: Dentist Consultation
I chose iDent Clinic because they’re relatively close to me. It was a special treatment I had done, so I ended up paying more than I expected. I also didn’t know what other dental clinics were charging, so the cost came as a big surprise to me. The treatment was good, but it’s difficult to say if it was worth what I paid.

The staff’s professionalism really impressed me, and they were able to help me quite quickly. There was no real waiting time and the service was fantastic. Overall, I was treated really well.

"It was a very pleasant experience"
5 50Reviewed 09 Jun 2017 Verified user. Review confirmed by phone.
Treatment Received: Dentist Consultation
I went in expecting to have a root canal, but after a few tests the dentist recommended other solution to my problem, which proved to be a jackpot. You must be aware that the dentist is quite young, but he makes up with professionalism, care and, which is an important factor for me, very good English. Overall it was as nice of an experience as dentist visits go. I am coming back

It was a very pleasant experience. The facility is brand new, neat and designed in a modern manner. The receptionist was helpful and very polite. The system is fully automated. Card payment available. They print the bill together with information about the refund. I recommend visiting.

Dr Varsik Hakopian

Job Title:
Hello, my name is Varsik Hakopian, and I am an orthodontist at the iDent clinic in Brussels in the district of Ganshoren. My name isn’t very common. Indeed, I am Armenian. I know Brussels well because I lived and grew up here from the age of 10. I graduated in 2013 with a distinction (magna cum laude). During my studies, I immediately developed an interest in orthodontics that required patience and exceptionally precise work. It was undoubtedly the discipline and the desire to aspire to perfection which allowed me to end up top of my class. Thanks to this, I could take part in the examination which gives you access to the orthodontics profession. Having successfully passed this competition, achieving top place amongst all of the candidates, I trained at the Erasme Hospital in the Anderlecht area. During these years of training, I was also given the opportunity to work in the Laboratory of Anatomy and Embryogenesis in the faculty of medicine. My work involved investigating a possible link between tooth number anomalies (tooth agenesis) and its hereditary nature in patients from the same family. I remember this period as an interesting and rewarding intellectual experience because in my current practice it has enabled me to manage more complex and specific orthodontic cases. I am also specialized in more specific orthodontic techniques, so that I can provide the best possible treatment to the patient. I practice discreet orthodontics (with ceramic brackets), lingual orthodontics (with the brackets glued to the inner surface of the teeth) and orthodontic techniques using aligners Invisalign. By offering a wider choice, I am able to satisfy the most discerning of requests. What I particularly like about my job as an orthodontist is the positive influence that a change to a patient’s smile can make to their social and private lives. We should never forget the self-confidence that can be acquired by having an exceptional smile. Playing a part in this change and supporting the individual during his or her daily life are incredible rewards for me in my profession.

Dr Quentin Dasnoy

Job Title:
  Cosmetic Dentistry,
Hello, my name is Quentin Dasnoy and I’m a Generalist dentist in Brussels, in the Ganshoren area. I was born in Etterbeek in the city of Brussels, where I spent my childhood. I started playing the violin at age 7 because I was extremely interested in music. I found it fantastic to be able to practise for hours and produce a result that we would never have hoped to get at first. I completed my secondary education at College Saint-Michel Etterbeek specialising in Latin and Greek, and it was during my final year that I knew I wanted to do a job related to medicine. I followed this vocation by enrolling at medical school. However, I decided to stop after the first year because I found that there weren’t any manual or technical aspects that I was particularly enjoying. So, naturally, I then headed for dentistry. I performed well in the final year, which allowed me to obtain my degree and achieve the title of Master of Dental Sciences. After my graduation, I decided not to stop there. With my own ambitions in sight, I enrolled at AZ-VUB University Hospital in Jette for academic year 2014-2015. It was a very rewarding experience because I was able to learn new prosthetic techniques with renowned professors. I also met dentists from other countries, like England and Portugal, with whom I could share a lot of knowledge and with whom I have kept in touch. I also wanted to improve myself in an area that is perhaps less well-known, but equally important: caring for children. I then worked for two years as an Assistant at the Queen Fabiola University Children’s Hospital (H.U.D.E.R.F.) in the Jette area in Brussels. I picked up some very rewarding tips about psychological approaches to use with children, and about more specific technical treatments in children’s dental care. When I’m not practising dentistry, I love spending time with my family and with my German Shepherd, Jax. I love my generalist dentist business, because by seeing patients from all kinds of backgrounds, I can help them, via their sometimes special requests, to improve their lives, and create irreplaceable memories.
