Dr. Jonathan Tversky - Oral Medicine

Dr Jonathan Tversky is a Specialist in Oral Medicine, with over 25 years’ experience in this discipline. Jonathan is a Senior Fellow at The Dental School, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Melbourne and is Specialist at The Oral Mucosal Clinic, Skin & Cancer Foundation. Previously, he held specialist appointments in Oral Medicine at Alfred Hospital, The Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. Jonathan completed his BDS at The University of Adelaide. When working at Westmead Hospital Sydney, he developed an interest in Oral Medicine and Orofacial Pain. He moved to Melbourne, where he undertook a specialist training program in Oral Medicine at the University of Melbourne, gaining his M.D.Sc. (Oral Medicine & Oral Pathology) in 1986. Since then, he has been in full-time restricted and then specialist private practice. Jonathan has lectured on a range of Oral Medicine & Orofacial Pain-related topics to general and specialist dental practitioners, as well as to general and specialist medical practitioners. These have included Dermatologists, Rheumatologists, Allergists, Gastroenterologists, Specialist General and Respiratory Physicians and Ear Nose & Throat Surgeons.
