Paediatric dentist. BDS, BSciDent(Hons), DClinDent(Paed), FRACDS. Born and bred in Melbourne, she moved to Adelaide in 2006 to undertake her undergraduate dental degree. During this time she lived at Lincoln College, where she was a Residential Tutor and Academic Tutor. Gwendolyn received several scholarships during her undergraduate training for placements to Canberra, Alice Springs and Bristol, United Kingdom. She graduated from her Bachelor of Dental Surgery with a concurrent Honours Degree in Bachelor of Science (Dentistry) in 2010. Following completion, she relocated to work in private practice in Melbourne and volunteered for a dental mission in the central Andes Mountains of Peru. She returned to Adelaide in 2012 to commence a residency position at the Department of Paediatric Dentistry, Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Gwendolyn has also been involved in undergraduate lecturing and teaching since 2012. In 2013, she commenced her specialist training in Paediatric Dentistry at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the University of Adelaide. Gwendolyn completed her specialist training in 2015 and during this same year, was inducted as a Fellow with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. In 2016, she was appointed as a Fellow, Department of Paediatric Dentistry, Women’s and Children’s Hospital and is involved with numerous specialist clinics, including the Australian Craniofacial Unit, Haematology, Special Needs and Trauma clinics, as well as others, all aimed at providing multi-disciplinary management of patients.
