Adno Dental

After graduating, Dr Adno spent his first year working in an underprivileged township in South Africa. He then worked in private practice in South Africa. Dr Adno moved to London and was privileged to work in a private high end practice in Highgate, North London.

Dr Adno has now made Sydney his home and has spent his first 4 years working in one of Sydney’s top General and Cosmetic dental practices in the CBD. In 2011 Dr Adno purchased the Edgecliff practice from Dr Cooney. In 2012 he amalgamated with  Dr Rosen's practice, Dr. Adno, is now conveniently located at 148 New South Head Road, opposite Edgecliff train station.

Dr James Fokinther graduated from the university of Glasgow in Scotland. He has experience in treating a wide range of dental procedures from working in both NHS and private practice in Scotland, volunteering in rural Cambodia and working in private practice in Australia.

James has focused his professional development on aesthetic dentistry and is completing post graduate education in oral surgery and dental implants. James loves working with anxious patients and children, believing that with the right techniques and coaching, anyone is able to have dental treatment carried out in a general practice setting. He works on providing pain free dentistry, creating a pleasant patient experience for everyone and taking time to explain all treatment options available.

James has a keen eye for detail and a natural artistic ability stemming from his childhood in rainy Scotland; painting and building models to pass the time.

Outside of dentistry James enjoys exploring Australia with his partner Emma. He loves anything outdoors from bushwalking to swimming, fishing and surfing.
