Prof. Dr. van der Hulst has extensive microsurgical experience and many patients treated with the DIEP flap breast reconstruction method. He started with the so-called perforatorlappen during his training in 1996, he and the entire team at the University Hospital Maastricht one of the first to bring this rags in the Netherlands and abroad performed. Drs John H.
