Facelift
Over time, exposure to the sun, gravity, and the stress may leave their mark on the face and neck. The purpose of facial plastic surgery is to smooth the signs of aging by tightening the muscles by removing fat and excess skin, thus giving your face a more youthful look. After surgery, patients may look up to 10-15 years younger.
The facelift, also known as rhytidectomy, is performed on the face and neck of patients who wish to correct deep wrinkles and sagging skin. Although facelift has been proved to be very effective in treating these problems, it cannot stop aging, as over time, the signs of aging will gradually reappear.
Also, facelifts are not suitable for eyebrow, eyelid, and eye correction. For these areas, it is usually recommended to combine facelift with blepharoplasty, brow lift and the application of injectable filler, implants, and facial reconstruction treatments.
Facelift treatment can be performed to healthy people over 50, non-smokers, who have a personal desire to improve the appearance of their face.
On your first visit, Dr. Sotiris Ioannidis will advise you on whether this treatment is right for you.
