MD was born in Bonn and studied medicine at the Johann-Wolgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, then at the UCL in London and at the University of California in San Diego. His focus was early on plastic surgery with special interest in aesthetic surgery. Internships and internships at internationally renowned departments for aesthetic surgery were the natural consequence. In order to gain a comprehensive surgical training, he completed his time as a physician in an internship and as an assistant physician at well-known departments in general and visceral surgery (Prof. Bechstein), pediatric surgery (Prof. Heller) and vascular surgery (Prof. Schmitz-Rixen) .

He has completed his medical studies at the University of Valencia. Since 1974 he is a licensed physician in Germany. The training as a specialist for surgery took place in well-known hospitals in Germany, in particular in Bochum, Heidelberg and Karlsruhe. He successfully completed his specialist medical examination in 1981. Since 1995 he has been active in the field of plastic surgery. This was followed by a further education in aesthetic plastic surgery with Prof. Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Through continuous practical and scientific training as well as specific courses of study abroad, he has expanded his professional competence on a national and international level.

She studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg. From 1985 to 1989, she was able to complete a profound training as an assistant doctor in the ENT department of today's Diakonie Hospital in Mannheim and at the ENT Clinic of the Städtische Klinik Karlsruhe.
