Dr. med. Egon F. Eder

Born on 09.11.1953 in Slovenia. He completed his medical studies in Ljubljana in 1979. While still a student he was at the University Clinic for Plastic, active Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery in Ljubljana. So he could after his doctoral training and activity as sculptor and continue seamlessly Micro surgeon. In the 80s, this university hospital was worldwide in Ljubljana known and a leader in the field of microsurgery. Subsequently , Dr. Eder formed at Froedert's Memorial Hospital for Plastic Surgery in MIlwaukee, USA. After his specialist examination in 1988, he became head of the Micro Surgical teams and provided, inter alia, for training numerous guest physicians from the whole world. As chief consultant Prof. Neven Olivari at the Clinic for Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in Wesseling near Cologne, he began in 1992 his career continues. He also completed 1995 Facharztprüfung of Plastic, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery in Dusseldorf. As Professor Neven Olivari retired in 1997, Dr. Eder has been appointed as its direct successor. He then headed the hospital in Wesseling chief physician with success until 2002. He then founded his own clinic in Cologne.
