Prof. Plogmeier studied medicine at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster and the Free University of Berlin. After successfully completing their program training in surgery and specialist training followed for plastic surgeons in the Department of Plastic Surgery and Burns Unit of the Center Hospital Am Urban, Berlin.In 1994 Prof. Plogmeier as senior physician at the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Hand Surgery at the Medical Faculty of the Otto von Guericke University. 1995 he was promoted to senior consultant in the clinic.In addition to the reconstructive surgery, the focus of specialization shifted increasingly in the Aesthetic Surgery.
