Breast Implants  
How is breast augmentation surgery (placement of silicone prosthesis)?  What type of anesthesia may be used for placement of the prosthesis?  How long is the surgery?  Where are the incisions made???  What is the extent of the scars?  Where are located the dentures?  The surgery is done in a hospital setting, the patient is subjected to anesthesia, an incision is performed on the skin, made a store where they are placed silicone implants, implant placement after the store is closed with sutures and apply occlusive dressing.  The placement can be performed with local anesthesia, sedation and location, blocks and general anesthesia, and the choice of type of anesthesia is consensus among the staff (Dr. Adivânia and anesthesiologist) and the patient.  The surgery lasts about 2 hours.  The most commonly used incisions for placement of silicone prosthesis can be made in inframammary fold  (most used), the periareolar region and axilla. Each type of incision will be discussed with the patient, the most appropriate incision being made ??for your case.  The scars vary in size between 3 and 5 cm depending on the patient and the type of prosthesis to be fitted. The end result of the scar in most cases is quite favorable, except in patients prone to keloids and hypertrophic scars.  After the incision is made ??a space where the implants are placed. The prostheses can get behind the mammary gland (retroglandular), most used, or behind the pectoralis major muscle (retromuscular), with the appropriate plan varies from patient to patient .
Breast Lift  
A mastopexy or breast lift is a procedure very accomplished in Brazil, especially in patients who have had children or in patients with significant weight loss that have ptosis (drooping) and sagging of the breasts. If the patient has an appropriate amount of breast parenchyma mastopexy or breast lift without breast augmentation is performed. If there is not enough breast tissue is placed a prosthesis to fill and give the breast a more harmonious way.
Areola Reduction  
Procedure in patients who have areolas size is increased for breast enlargement or after pregnancy and lactation may be performed in conjunction with mastopexy or separately.
