First of all, you have the wrong address for Farrell Physiotherapy. They are at The Old Coal Yard off the Braintree Road on the edge of Chelmsford. Mr Farrell put me totally at ease, treated me as an intelligent person, explained he was sure pain wasn’t originating in the artificial knee but from lumbar spine. Suggested exercises which “must not hurt be gentle and build up slowly”. Then sent them by email to me. Will be seeing him again this coming Friday ie two weeks from first appointment. Extremely good value financially. Originally chose because wrong online address was that of my GP surgery.

On recommendation I first visited Melanie in 2018 with excruciating pain in my back. Melanie was so careful with me sending me straight for an x-ray which made me feel how thorough and careful Melanie was before treating me. Melanie explained the problem and was able to show me from my x-ray which was more helpful than any other back specialists I's seen over the years. My back became stronger and I was given good advice throughout. You are in safe hands when you visit Melanie. Her knowledge, professionalism and dedication in what she does is second to none. Having a weak back since I was a child when it becomes troublesome I'm straight back to Melanie. Thank you for always putting me back together again Melanie!

Milan is a fabulous chiropractor who has helped the whole family for over 20 years, Milan is totally professional and so experienced. Myself and my daughter have been to her recently and she has resolved both of our issues, I had hurt my shoulder, no idea how but it was keeping me awake at night. My daughter had a fall and had injured her back. This needed a few sessions, plus regular icing and is now on the mend with just a slight twinge. My son visits Milan every 6/8 weeks for preventative treatment and has done for two years. This keeps him supple to be able to complete his work.

Initially, I was very apprehensive having had physio and acupuncture for the two frozen shoulders I have been suffering from. Life at Wickford was recommended by a friend so I decided to give it a try and it was the best thing I could have done. There is no quick fix for a frozen shoulder and I was taking at least six painkillers a day and movement was quite limited. However, following alternate treatments with Harrison for spine and neck adjustment and Ben who massages both shoulders my pain is greatly reduced to maybe a couple of tablets a week at most and movement greatly improved. Ben has given me exercises to do at home which I do religiously and life is improving daily. I know there is still a long way to go but with their help, I know I will get there. They are both very professional and compassionate and care about their clients. I am now having maintenance and will look forward to seeing them every couple of weeks because every visit brings me closer to recovery. Would I recommend it to anyone? You bet I would.
