I visited this clinic 4 years ago due to a problem with my neck. I had a very positive experience and was relieved of my pain after just 1 session. Recently my mum has had shoulder pain so I immediately recommended this clinic to mum. Paula diagnosed it as a rotary muscle issue and after taking, a thorough medical history began treatment. Throughout the treatment, Paula was compassionate and explained the process. She was firm but gained consent at each stage of treatment. Paula has used humour to help my mum relax. Mum has had 2 sessions so far and is almost pain-free. Paula has taken her time to speak to mum about her posture and also recommended exercises to perform at home. I was so impressed by Alan and his team. Following a car accident, I was in a lot of pain and suffering. From the first visit, I felt I was really listened to. Alan identified Costochondritis as one of my issues and worked on my rib cage area. That was someplace to start. I also have a number of injuries, cervical and thoracic pain and Alan identified a muscle weakness that had led to my shoulder blade moving. This was causing so much pain and over a number of weeks with suitable exercises and physiotherapy Alan had the muscles stronger and the shoulder blade back in place. Over the years I have attended Physios who give you moves to do but don't massage the muscles. This is where LL differs. I would recommend Alan in Laurel Lodge Physio.
