He has more than 20 years experience in internal medicine and cardiology with exposure in Malaysia, Japan, United States of America, Italy and Australia. A proper cardiology department was set up by Dr Yew in this hospital which covers emergency infarctplasty for heart attack, emergency treatment for severe uncontrolled high blood pressure, acute heart failure and pulmonary embolism. His outpatient clinic provides a range of clinical consult for general medical, cardiac, health screening and medical examination for insurance purpose. Treadmill test, echo, ECG, lung spirometry, blood pressure tonometry, 24 hour ECG Holter, transesophageal ECHO, pacemaker checking, CT Coronary and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) services are available. There are also various cardiac health screening packages which are designed to meet individual needs ranging from the basic yet meaningful to the comprehensive and detailed choice.
