We offer our clients a free consultation prior to any microdermabrasion treatment because there are certain contraindications that may not allow us to treat some clients, (for example, pregnancy). During this consultation we will be happy to answer any questions that you may have. Since we are fully insured and DBS certified, you can confidently relax, unwind and enjoy your experience with us.
We are based at The Lavender Beauty Salon in Dorking. The salon is situated in Old King’s Head Court, a beautiful courtyard in the heart of Dorking Town Centre, and so it is the ideal place to come for some pampering and relaxation, and perhaps even a coffee and a bit of retail therapy afterwards!

What is Diamond Microdermabrasion?
Diamond microdermabrasion is fast becoming one of the most popular skin treatments available in the UK.
It is a very relaxing yet effective, deep exfoliation technique that uses no harsh chemicals.
It effectively promotes the skin’s natural health, whilst reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, age spots and much more.
It is a versatile treatment which can be used all over the body. It is especially effective on the face, décolletage area, and on the back of the hands and tops of the feet, which can often ‘give away’ a person’s age.
How does it work?
Dead skin cells are removed using a wand which contains micron sized diamonds. The vacuum action of the machine then works below the surface of the skin to remove toxins and encourages the production of elastin. It leaves your skin looking revitalised, with a more even complexion, resulting in a more youthful appearance.
Who is it for?
Due to the fact that it is a chemical-free and non-invasive procedure, Diamond microdermabrasion is suitable for all skin types.

How often should you have it?
You will notice a difference after just one treatment but, as with all skin care routines, you will experience the greatest benefit with a course of treatments. For best results, a client should have one treatment per week for 6 weeks initially, and then a treatment every 4-6 weeks, to maintain the optimum condition and appearance of the skin.
