She is Board certified in both internal medicine and dermatology, Dr. Welsh received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine, and a residency in dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Prior to establishing her solo practice, Dr. Welsh spent 5 years as Chief of Dermatology for The Permanente Medical Group in San Francisco. There, she established and directed The Permanente Cosmetic Dermatology program, a model for similar programs developed nationwide. She frequently lectures on cosmetic and general dermatology topics. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, an Emergency Physician, and her 2 children. Dr. Welsh is an avid skier, windsurfer and beginning kite boarder. A small town girl, she is returning to her “roots” by growing vegetables on her urban roof.

She is a board-certified dermatologist joining Bay Area Cosmetic Dermatology in October 2014. As a fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon, Dr. Hui is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, Mohs micrographic surgery, and reconstructive surgery. She has also received years of extensive training in cosmetic dermatology, including neuromodulators, fillers, hair restoration, and lasers. Dr. Hui is excited to bring her surgical expertise to the practice.
