What is a Threadlift?

A threadlift, or suture lift, procedure is an anti-aging procedure where special absorbable and invisible threads are used to augment the features of the face and hold the skin and facial tissue in place. The threadlift procedure is long lasting compared to anti-aging injectables. The procedure augments drooping eyebrows, sunken cheeks and sagging jowls and necks. They are pulled out together leaving the thread inside the skin. Collagen is stimulated when the needles are pulled out and this augments skin tone. The thread is slowly absorbed by the skin.

Threadlifts are performed after administering local anaesthesia. Patients will feel no pain during a threadlift procedure.

I visited Dr Aswaq Al Hadithi on the 8th of February 2023 When I entered the clinic it was extremely clean. I was having a lesion removed the Dr explained everything she was going to do. Last night I had lip fillers and I could not be happier with the results! When I was 18 I had jaw realignment surgery for an underbite and was told at the time it had affected the appearance of my top lip. I have always wished I had more of a top lip and having turned 30 this year decided to go for it! Speaking to Eve (who before running her business was a top qualified nurse), it was really interesting to have her review the scars I have inside my mouth from my surgery and hear her recommendation of how much filler my lips could take to achieve my desired look - which is something natural. I arrived at the clinic and had lots of numbing cream on my lips for 45 minutes, once I was fully numb Eve commenced with the injections which I didn't think hurt. Eve is professional and lovely, she makes you feel very relaxed and provides an all-round super service! Thank you Botastics - I'll be back!! Botastics is a stylish, clean and well-managed clinic. The staff, ambiance and cleanliness is all 10/10. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere other than Botastics for my treatments!
