With 39 years of experience as a qualified nurse, I have dedicated my career to excellence in surgical care within the NHS. For 23 years, I served as a Ward Sister, followed by my role as a Surgical Matron, where I was responsible for reviewing safety, surgical interventions, and best clinical practices within my Directorate. My expertise extends to clinical training, evaluating medical procedures, and investigating safety events to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
