Biography:
Lynda has over 15 years of experience in acute care hospital-based nursing, and 10 years of experience in private practice, both in medical and aesthetics. The last several years have been spent as a nursing manager and operations manager for a Medical/Aesthetics clinic prior to her joining Restore Vein & Skin Centre. Her nursing career has taken her from remote hospital settings in Labrador, to London, Prince George, Vancouver and Kelowna.

Dr Mandy Wong

Biography:
Dr. Mandy Wong is the medical director of the accredited non-hospital surgical centre in Restore Vein & Skin Centre. She obtained her degree as an MD from the University of Alberta in 1991 with honours in research, after publishing a scientific paper on treatment of malignant melanoma during medical school. She went on to become a general practitioner, moving to Kelowna in 1995. Due to her continued interest in skin, she has guided her career to mirror her special interests. Dr. Wong has focused her practice on the treatment of varicose veins and skin concerns for the last 15 years. Channelled by her interest in research and belief in evidence-based medicine, she continues to dedicate herself to continued education and training in order to maintain her status as an expert in her chosen fields of practice.

Dr Harpreet Lotay

Biography:
Dr. Lotay is originally from the East Kootenays and graduated from the University of Alberta with distinction. She addresses a wide spectrum of dermatologic issues, and continues to attend many national and international conferences on clinical dermatology, medical lasers, dermoscopy and the diagnosis of skin cancer. She is a member of the Canadian Society of Phlebology, and provides sclerotherapy treatment for varicose veins. She has received certification in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland and continues to pursue further education in dermatology. Her Post graduate diploma in clinical dermatology is from Queen Mary -University of London School of Medicine. Her interest and training in aesthetic medicine began in 2001 when she completed a private practice fellowship in Philadelphia. Dr. Lotay balances the pursuit of beautifying techniques with safe, scientific and evidence-based interventions. She has expertise in creating a natural refreshed look using dermal fillers and Fillers. She enjoys educating her patients on skin care as well as teaching medical students and residents. She was an Assistant Clinical Professor in Family Medicine at the University of Texas in San Antonio until 2007 and currently teaches students at the University of British Columbia Okanagan.

Dr Henry Docherty

Biography:
Dr. Henry Docherty graduated in Medicine from Glasgow University in 1981, and has practised in Canada since 1984, and in Kelowna since 1988. He is a Member and Fellow of the College of Family Practice of Canada, and serves on their Community of Practice committee for Cancer Care. He has worked at the BC Cancer Agency since 2000 and has been doing skin lesion assessment clinics since 2011.

Dr John Mah

Biography:
Dr. John Mah grew up in Southern Alberta, and graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors with Distinction of Mechanical Engineering in 1987 and a Doctor of Medicine in 1992. He completed a rotating internship at the Victoria General Hospital in 1993, after which he received his qualifications to practice medicine in BC. From 1993 to 1996, Dr. Mah was in training to be an oncologist with the BC Cancer Agency, but decided to return to family medicine and, in 1998, completed his family medicine residency with UBC at the Prince George program site.
