A gastric balloon aims to reduce feelings of hunger and help you feel fuller for longer after eating only small meals. Also known as an intragastric balloon, this type of weight loss treatment can help you lose weight without invasive surgery. During the procedure a soft balloon is inserted into your stomach through your mouth, using an endoscope (a thin, flexible telescope). The balloon is then filled with saline solution to partially fill your stomach, leaving less room for large amounts of food or drink. The best place for surgery... I did gastric sleeve at Jerusalem. Hospital 10 years ago and still happy with my result.. the best decision ever... lost weight and still keeping my weight... my health has been very good ... no problems at all.... very recommended... service was very good, nice staff at the hospital... stayed at a nice hotel Ticuan.. shuttle of the hospital pick me up at the San Diego airport and after my entire process they return me to the airport...

After my BMI hit 40 and with diabetes giving me trouble, I decided to go for the gastric bypass at CeMar Surgery after a video consultation with Dr. Rosales. They offered an all-inclusive package that really simplified everything for me. I just had to buy a plane ticket, and everything from the medical tests and the hospital stay to the hotel was included in my package, which was great because I didn’t have to move around different places. They even picked me up from the airport! A big plus was the bilingual staff, since my Spanish is a bit rusty. After the surgery, they provided me with a super comfortable private room in the hospital, which by the way is very beautiful, and then they arranged for my stay at the Quartz Hotel, which is within the same complex as the hospital, the room was spacious and simply amazing. It's been six months and I've already lost 65 pounds! This surgery really saved my life, and the personalised care made all the difference. That's why I recommend them.

It is a relatively minor procedure, but it may take your stomach a little while to get used to the balloon.
