Dimitrios Filippou

General Surgeon Dimitrios K. Philip was born in Athens. He studied medicine at the Medical School of Athens University , where he moved with national exams. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in 1995. During the basic studies pioneered showed special call to the scientific life of medicine, inspired and founded the Scientific Society of Medical Students of Greece , which was a real revolution in the field of medical education worldwide. This movement organized the scientific field of medical students and presents yet rich scientific and social work having now become an institution. He fulfilled the rural service in Regional Surgery Aristomenous (Health Center Messina) in Messinia. During his tenure he was elected to the Board of the Medical Association of Messinia, where he was General Secretary. During the making of the specialty of General Surgery practiced in several major centers in Athens (GONK Saints Anargyroi, GPNNA Agia Olga GNPNP Tzanio) as also in Clinical Daler and Hopital CAntonal du Fribourg in Switzerland. He received the title of General Surgery in 2006 and has since been working as a private. Works with various private hospitals in Athens. Examples include the NEW Athenaeus in which the responsibility of the Laser Unit , and has created with his associates Laparoscopic Surgery Unit and Surgical Oncology Unit .
