Hua Shen was amongst the first ever students in China to receive a Masters degree linking both Chinese and Western Medicine, graduating from the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine after 7 years study. She was also an acupuncture adviser for foreign students there. In the following years she worked in the Shanghai Tongji University Hospital as a qualified doctor, where she treated a wide variety of conditions using the techniques used in the hospitals in China. Hua Shen has a particular interest in fertility and IVF support and she runs 2 specialist clinics in the Edgbaston and Moseley area, which are convenient for patients from CARE Fertility, Birmingham Women's Hospital and BMI Priory. Many of her patients come for support during IVF and ICSI, whereas others come for help to conceive naturally and for continued support during pregnancy.
