Mrs Emma Rickards-Tilley

Biography:
Emma graduated, after studying for 4 years, from the College of Intergrated Chinese Medicine in Reading, Berkshire obtaining her degree in acupuncture. She then went on to train for a further year in paediatric acupuncture being taught by the world renowned paediatric acupuncturist Julian Scott. The college is the one of the largest and most well respected colleges in the world providing an integrated approach to training where the strengths of both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element Acupuncture is combined. Emma first became intersested in acupuncture after suffering for years with IBS. Western therapies had no affect so out of desperation she went to have acupuncture and was symptom free after the first treatment. After living abroad for several years and having her 4 children Emma decided to leave her successful career as a veterinary nurse to persue a career in Chinese Medicine. Emma is passionate about treating babies and children. Having treated her own children with acupuncture she has seen first hand the amazing affects and beleives that children can benfit greatly from having treatment for many childhood conditions. Emma also specialises in male and female fertility, pregnancy and the post-portum period. Emma's training includes other techniques used in Chinese Medicine such as cupping, moxabustion, guasha, tuina, auricular and electro-acupuncture.
