About Shen Dao Chinese Medicine Dunmanway

Freya Sherlock (Lic.Ac, BSc Hons level TCM/CHM, PG Dip CHM) offers acupuncture, Tui-na and cupping together with Chinese Herbal Medicine when appropriate, given as bespoke herbal prescriptions tailored to accurately reflect and treat each patient's unique presentation of signs and symptoms. She teaches at the College of Oriental Medicine and is currently doing a masters degree in Chinese Herbal Medicine. She is available in Kinsale on Mondays and in Dunmanway Tues-Fri.

Biography:
My training started in 1988 with a 2 year foundational diploma in Chinese medicine. I devoted the next 15 yrs. to practising informally while raising her 4 children, running an 80 acre organic farm and co-founding and managing a Steiner-based preschool and primary school. In 2008, the opportunity to return to education arose and I undertook the BSc Hons level degree in TCM & CHM at the College of Oriental Medicine (formerly IITCM) and graduated in 2012 with distinction.
