I have recently returned from Turkey after having gastric sleeve surgery and I am satisfied with the treatment I had at the Sanamentum. If you're looking for bariatric surgery in Turkey I would definitely recommend Dr Gungor Gul he is quite experienced in this field. Everything went as they told me by the phone. CK Health is an amazing company. I was picked up from the airport on 20/03/2023 by Sebastian who was waiting outside for me (please look for a board with C K Health on it and not your name as I did). Sebastian was lovely and he did all my transfers to the hospital & hotel. I arrived at the hospital and Baza was waiting for me, omg that lady is amazing and always has a smile on her face she made me feel so welcome. She took me straight for an X-ray then I was taken to my room it was lovely and clean with an en-suite. Next I met the wonderful nurses who came in to take blood and fitted a cannula. I also had an ECG as well I then eat my last meal a sandwich and a muffin lol you can eat and drink till 12 the night before your surgery. Next morning they came for me and I met a wonderful lady from Wales Mandy who was having surgery the same day. I can honestly say we became friends instantly they took us for so many tests. They made sure I was fit and healthy to get my surgery done, you don’t get that in the UK unfortunately. In the afternoon I had my operation and I can’t remember them even putting me to sleep I just remember being back in my room. I was in pain on one side of my stomach but that soon disappeared when they gave me pain relief. Fatima came in as the VIP nurse to look after me this lady is one of a kind, she is a wonderful caring lady who really looks after you all through the night she deserves a medal for the care she gives to everyone. Next morning I was feeling much better than the night before I managed a little walk my surgeon Dr Erdem Can Yardimci came to check to see if I was ok and the nurses were constantly checking on me. Thursday I left the hospital and got taken to my hotel Pacco Boutique Hotel which is lovely then I & Mandy went for a walk. Friday me and Mandy were picked up by Canaan & Oguthan they are so lovely we were taken to the head office to meet the team who booked everything for us. It was lovely to meet everyone Liza and Yilmaz was there and was great to meet them as they are the ones that do everything from booking your surgery hotels flights you name it they do it. It’s all thanks to these that everything went as smoothly as it did. They even checked me in with my flight all I had to do was turn up. Without this team, CKHealth wouldn’t be the same before I booked with them they answered every question and when I wanted to speak to them they called me straight away. They go above and beyond for you and I can’t thank them enough. I would recommend CKHealth to anyone who is thinking of having surgery in Turkey and if I could give them more than 5 stars I definitely would. To every one of you that had a part in my journey, I can’t thank you all enough and I was sad saying goodbye to you all I love each and every one of you and I would definitely choose you again in a heartbeat. You are all so wonderful.
