Gastric Sleeve Turkey

I had sleeve gastrectomy surgery and my family members had eclipse balloons. It was a wonderful experience for us with the whole medical team led by Professor Ali, Nurse Sude, translator Mohammed, Ali Musthapa and nurses at Ward 3. They've been very meticulous and professional in attending to our medical needs. I would recommend their services to anyone who needs such professional medical attention and hygiene at very affordable prices. 😀

I had my gastric sleeve surgery exactly 1 month ago. I am very satisfied with the clinic and especially with Dr. Barış and my coordinator Ömer. I was well-informed about everything. I felt very safe during my stay in the clinic with the team’s professional manner. Dr. Barış was very friendly and the clinic was very clean and modern. There is a family atmosphere and you feel very well cared for! Can't thank them enough.

Dr Cem, Almira, Zeynep, Gökçe and the hospital team were brilliant for my entire bypass process. From booking to arriving in Istanbul I was greeted by the most beautiful Maybach van to travel to the hospital with another patient, who I am still in contact with 3 months later as we share our journeys! I was taken to a very smart and clean private hospital room where all of my observations were done by quick and talented nursing staff. We were then whisked away to see the cardiologist attending, have x-rays done and sign all of our elective forms subject to satisfactory results from pre-op testing. The surgeon will not proceed with any kind of procedure if these do not come back as satisfactory! It's important to note I was not asked to pay any more than my deposit until it had been confirmed that I was going ahead with the operation and all test results were accepted. I slept in the hospital overnight. The bed was pretty unforgiving on my poor hips but all hospital beds are the same! Designed for function, not comfort. The next morning I saw Dr Cem again to confirm I would be the second one going under for the op day, so took the chance to wish my new room neighbour good luck as he was going first. The surgery itself was over in a flash. I had a slight added complication that the top of my belly is surprisingly narrow underneath that chunky layer of fat and I think they had to move a few things around a bit to get the job done. The surgeon was great though, I came away with 4 tiny cuts and one drainage pipe. The drainage is removed after about two days, it can be a nuisance to tote around but it has a clip attached to it so you can hook it onto your clothing. The nurses are incredibly attentive and will do anything for you. I was never short of water or pain relief after my op. The night nurses check on you religiously through the early hours. I found it very hard being able to only sleep on my back for long periods. With a bit of Google Translate's help, I was provided with extra pillows to support my arms and blankets. The view and noises from the window were really good. You'll hear the call to prayer countless times during your stay and the area is peaceful and respectful around the hospital. There was never any shouting or honking etc, all very relaxing. The blinds in the room were thankfully adjustable as Turkish mornings are very bright! The nurses will have you up and walking in a matter of hours after the surgery. The private wing is quiet and calming, you have a grab rail along the entire hallway to cling to if needed and plenty of chairs to rest on! It also gives you a chance to socialise a bit with other patients. We had me, an Englishman, a Welsh couple, and a Polish lady all in the same corridor. There are only about 8 suites in the wing, and it's keypad locked so there's no one without a purpose wandering past your room! I saw Dr Cem multiple times during my stay. He made a point of visiting to have a chat at least once a day with all of his patients, and he's a kind and knowledgeable man. His English and German are both good and with the help of Google Translate, we had some good conversations about the next steps. After 3 nights in hospital, my neighbour and I were given a very comprehensive rundown on vitamins, shakes, liquid diets, probiotics and medication before being transported to the hotel for the remainder of our stay. You'll receive blood thinners, painkillers, stomach protectors, bandages, you name it! You'll also be added to a personalised WhatsApp group with your surgeon, coordinators and nutritionist. Gökçe reminds you every day of changeover when it comes to amping your food intake back up and provides helpful menus. I lived on kefir and high protein yoghurt for the first few weeks due to some med withdrawal issues. Things to note: - You'll be in a good amount of discomfort for a few weeks. - You will get constipated - You won't shower from the morning of your surgery until you get to the hotel. Take antiperspirant and easy changes of clothing to stay fresh! - Istanbul is buzzing and vibrant, but you may not get the opportunity to explore post-surgery. - Remember to book your flight assistance for the trip back! Better to have it and not need it than vice versa. The coordinators deserve medals. Almira was omnipresent and so sweet. There was nothing too much for her if you asked. Zeynep had her conversion sleeve to bypass surgery the day before we arrived and she was still there to greet us and see us off while she was recovering too, which I appreciated the effort her seeing as she should have been at home in bed! If you're concerned about doing it, don't be. There was never a moment where I didn't feel completely safe. I am now 35kg lighter after 3 months and I look forward to a bright future. SW: 154KG

I first came along with my friend for her bypass surgery. I decided after seeing the fantastic team from the surgeon to all the staff. They all were so caring and a well managed team. The transfers were included in the price friendly drivers and were on time promptly every time. The hospital was very clean and all questions & concerns were answered straightaway. The after care was 10/10 all staff were really caring and listened and resolved any problems which raised. I felt safe and cared for from the start to the end. I had gastric sleeve surgery. I got my gastric sleeve with Apera on 8/10/22. I’m now 3 months post-op, just want to share my experience. We were collected from the airport in a fancy transfer car and arrived at the most stunning hotel ever, the place was beautiful and comfortable. The following day I was taken to a clinic for body analysis tests which were all great, I paid the remaining balance. Then went off to do shopping as my op was the following day. Next day arrived, and we were picked up and taken to the hospital. The place was beautiful and so clean, the nurses were good the surgeon was lovely, and plenty of translators on hand to help if needed. Had loads of pre op tests and all was well, then came the big op, before I knew it I was waking up and it was done. I’m now 5 stone down after the op, and I cannot fault the service or care I received from Apera.

I had a gastric sleeve operation I felt normal after the operation but if you want to eat something you can't eat so much You are eating just what you need. It feels really good that I have lost 28 lbs so far. I am really happy and thank you for that.

Well, how can I start. I was so mediocre before get this treatment. I am like 5'4 and was like 236 lbs. I have doubts on my mind and never been able to chance to feel myself brave to get this treatment. Finally, I made my decision and start to make my research. I found Clinic Center on Instagram and started to read comments on trust pilot. Hence, the number of comments on trust pilot is high and the rating score was high, that encourage me to contact with them. All I can say is it was an excellent service from talking about my options to having the operation. The salesperson was really concerned and answer my all doubts, the doctor and the patient service was amazing, and I always felt like I was at home. After surgery, I was starting to loose weight after surgery. It has been like 3 months since I got my surgery. Thanks for Clinic Center to help me getting this hard procedure without getting trouble. I had 3 operations at once (Rhinoplasty, Otoplasty and chin implant). The whole team was very professional and there were English-speaking helpers whenever language was an issue. Communication was mostly clear and the facility was very impressive. Overall I would recommend going with Vanity.

Buccal fat removal 9-10cc total. Very good staff and hospital and very glad I went to Turkey for this. Almost the whole process went really well and I've communicated with AYT privately about one or two potential areas in need of improvement. Additionally, my advice for people not able to speak Turkish is that their staff have a high school kids equivalent of English so whilst you can definitely talk about basic things I would strongly urge people to have a translator app at the ready with the Turkish language downloaded for offline use when you don't have an internet connection. Also make sure you get them to confirm a few times over if it is local or general anaesthetic you're going under for surgery as this was one of my main criticisms and could be a language translation issue in need of amendment.

I had the gastric sleeve the 16/01 and my experience has been amazing, so far I have lost 16kg, the nurses team were amazing. Irem was fantastic in translating any queries that I had my stitches are healing perfectly and I couldn’t have asked for a better surgery.

From start to finish AYT looked after me and helped me and supported me. Asli was incredible always there to answer any questions and was a great support when I was in Turkey having the op. Dr Elif is a FABULOUS plastic Surgeon Find!!! I am almost 68 years old. In my regular annual eye exam, my Optometrist suggested that my upper eyelids were resting down upon my eyelashes and I was due for the eyelift surgery. He recommended Dr. Elif from Medhera Health Clinic to me and I called and got in to see her. She did the upper and lower eye reductions and after 3 weeks you can't even tell where she made the incisions!! Her work is so symmetric and precise and clean I am sure it is because of her vast amount of experience in this field! I look easily 15 years younger and so much more light gets to my eyes. I no longer wake up with gunk in my eyes!! I was home that same day, and because of how well it was closed up and bandaged, I was able to sleep for almost 8 hours on my back using my C-pap without waking. It is now the day after and I feel fine and am about to take a vigorous mile walk!! I can't say enough about this wonderful plastic surgeon. What an amazing find Dr. Elif and Medhera Health Team!

My experience with Clinichub has been great from start to finish! 😊 I struggled with my weight for all my life and finally decided that do something about it and started researching weight-loss surgeries and came across the gastric sleeve. So I started my enquiry with Clinichub, chatting with my lovely Coordinator and had a consultation, my surgeon, before booking my surgery! My coordinator made sure that I knew everything about the process, what to expect, how to prepare myself, etc. Then I booked my flights, packed and was mentally ready to do this for myself so I could lose this excess weight that was holding me back from enjoying many things in life. I arrived at the airport late at night, the driver was already waiting for me and escorted me to this 5-star hotel, my room was very neat and clean. There was an amazing breakfast buffet which I was not able to ENJOY ☹ as I was already on my fluid diet. Anyways, I was informed by my coordinators about the plan for the day. I got up and get ready for the tests and was taken to the hospital by the driver. I finally I met Asuman in the hospital who had been helping all through my booking process and she guided me in there as well and made sure everything went well super smoothly. The dietitian was also amazing, she explained a lot of things to me made sure everything was clear about my diet and brought me my supplements to use later. I also got to meet other patients who were having surgery on the same day as me which helped lessen my anxiety, you know seeing other people go through the same experiences and supporting each other. I met my surgeon prior to my surgery, and he was very kind and gave me confidence that everything would go well. He also made sure I felt comfortable and cared for afterwards. The nurses were lovely and very attentive. Even though I was in pain in my first day, pain relief was provided, they helped me walk and felt so much BETTER after taking my first shower, relieved and renewed. By the time I got discharged, I was feeling so good like I haven’t even had surgery and I kept thinking “WHY HAVE I DELAYED THIS FOR SO LONG?” So overall, I was impressed with the quality of the service and even though I was nervous to travel by myself, I felt comfortable and welcomed during my whole stay. So MASSIVE THANK YOU to Clinichub for the journey and my doctor, all the coordinators, nurses, drivers, hotel staff! I’ll be definitely back for my tummy and referring my family and friends 😊
